Project ATELIER-EO awarded by the Norwegian Research Council

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded funds by the Norwegian Research Council (Forskningsrådet) to perform the R&D project called ATELIER-EO (Automated machine learning framework tailored to Earth Observation). The objective of the project is to research and develop an AutoML framework tailored towards Earth observation applications.

With the R&D performed within ATELIER-EO, S&T will lay a solid foundation for a significant expansion of its portfolio of AI based EO products, both for research and commercial customers. This foundation will allow us to access new markets, reduce cost and increase performance of existing products. The overall goals of the project are in line with Norway’s National Strategy for AI. 

We are looking forward to starting the project, together with our partner NTNU, in fall 2022!
